Pears Refuse to Ripe

I bought some pears that refuse to ripe after 3 weeks, so I make them into a painting. I wanted to capture their pale dark green color and scent in the air in the form of art, and keep in my memory. So now they fulfill my soul (and hopefully yours) instead of my stomach. Either way I am thankful :-).
