On my birthday earlier this year, I went for a walk in the famous Filoli garden. While I was wandering around my attention drawn toward a rapidly moving yellow dot. on beautiful poppies. It turned out to be a busy bee, working hard under the sun. I was thrilled to see this American yellow-faced bumblebee for the very first time and fascinated by its look. Its bright yellow & black body blended well with the poppies. This little dazzling busy bee leaves me a memorable birthday.
